I hope that you enjoy looking through all the sections however to assist
you finding your way around I have listed a few thoughts below.
If you are a student – on the ‘Learning to Play’ pages you will find extra lessons to help you practice your instrument whether it be piano, flute or violin. These lessons give you strategies to build strength and stamina on your instrument as well as fun tips to keep you inspired! Also, keep an eye on the ‘specials’ page as I will occasionally have different specials up for you….these may be free lessons, discounts off books etc.
If you are a teacher – on the ‘Teaching Ideas’ pages you will find music planning (including units of work, lesson plans and games), song ideas that I have used in various settings- this includes musicals, behaviour management techniques as well as extra ideas that I have used and developed over the years.
In the ‘Links’ section I will list and briefly review books that I have found interesting and that have helped me to develop as a teacher. There will also be links to video clips, images and other websites.
